The Role:
Reporting to the Yard Manager, you will work closely with the team to perform a variety of general yard duties. This physically active role involves loading mulch into trucks, assisting with vehicle movements, and delivering mulch and similar products to various sites.

You’ll also be responsible for operating equipment such as excavators and small grinders, maintaining basic records of products moving in and out of the yard, and supporting basic maintenance tasks. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in assisting tree crews by delivering essential equipment to job sites. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into physical work.

Full training is provided on-site. This would suit an individual looking for a long-term opportunity with stable employment, and potential for career progression.

What we need from you:

• Driving licence and MR truck licence – essential
• Excavator experience - essential
• Experience in working in a similar role
• Good organisational and computer skills
• A passion and respect for safety, Home Safe Every Day is our number one value
• The ability to work as part of a team with a mature outlook and good communication skills

Great, but not essential:

• HR and HC truck licence
• White card
• Experience with servicing small petrol driven handheld equipment
