Beyond Access (BA) offers individualized services that go beyond standard college-level accommodations to help students bridge the gap between access and success. UConn GPS is a pre-semester program that facilitates a successful transition to university life for first-year and transfer students. In addition, the incumbent will share information about CSD and its enhanced service programs.

As a college health nurse, this registered nurse will be responsible for providing patient focused advice and education, by supporting the maintenance and improvement of the health of students, identifying, and assisting in removing or modifying health related barriers, and supporting early detection and early intervention strategies.

Student Health and Wellness APRN - 9 month in UConn Storrs
UConn Student Health and Wellness on the Storrs Campus is searching to fill an open APRN position. The Student Health and Wellness Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) provides patient-centered medical care for all eligible students at the University of Connecticut. The APRN provides clinical care in an ambulatory care environment, with a public health equity focus, advocating for improved access, quality, and cost-effective care. This is a permanent 9-month opening with a working period from mid-August through mid-May annually, although 10-, 11-, and 12-month reduced weekly schedules will be considered. The ideal candidate will work five days a week, which may include occasional shifts extending until 6 pm, and will include every other Saturday as part of a rotation during the academic calendar. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
