UConn Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) is seeking an EHS Specialist to join the Environmental Programs team at the Storrs and regional campuses. The role will monitor compliance with applicable federal and state regulations and University policies through data collection, records assessment, surveys of University operations and review of construction projects. The selected candidate will provide consultation to the University community regarding appropriate regulations, policies, and procedures regarding construction and renovations, regulated building materials such as asbestos and PCBs, soil and wetlands management, UST and AST management, dam safety, and other activities that may impact University compliance with regulations related to air, water, and waste management.

Operations Coordinator (Administrative Program Support 2) in Stamford Campus
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations and Strategic Initiatives, the Operations Coordinator implements the day-to-day operations of the UConn Stamford Campus. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supervising students and overseeing the University’s food pantry (Husky Harvest), key management, physical security support, meal plan administration, Welcome Center support, and office moves coordination. The position will support liaising with campus facilities and various external partners and support services as needed, related to the main campus and residential facilities.

Under the general supervision of the Director of the School of Business Career Development Office (BCDO), the Career Consultant advises students on career exploration, professional development, and the techniques for obtaining employment. In partnership with other colleagues, the Career Consultant develops, plans, and administers career-related programs and activities designed to assist undergraduate School of Business students from a diversity of backgrounds and identities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the unique needs of diverse populations and a commitment to equitably addressing these needs.
