The Associate Squash Coach is responsible for performing various duties and responsibilities, including, but not limited to, coaching, instructing, recruiting, counseling, monitoring student-athlete academic performance, designing training sessions, collaborating on game plans and strategies, adhering to compliance requirements, overseeing the safety and maintenance of the facility, and other sport program administrative functions for Bates College’s NCAA Division III intercollegiate Squash program. This is a professional associate coaching position and all of the duties of the position must be conducted in adherence with the policies, rules, and regulations of affiliated national, regional, and state intercollegiate athletic associations, the NESCAC Conference and the College.

Library Assistant - Access Services in Lewiston, ME
Performs general circulation duties, including; supervising student assistants, answering questions, locating materials, and solving problems with scanners, printers, and other standard library machines. Schedule requires evening (4:30 pm – 1:00 am) and weekend shifts. Schedule varies during college breaks. The position is also responsible for the supervision and training of Public Service Student Assistants working at the Circulation and Audio Service Desks on a daily basis. Bates Dining, Conferences and Campus Events provides/oversees services for a self-operated student dining program, campus catering, cash dining operations, vending, summer programs, one day programs, major campus events, campus space scheduling and non-student short term housing. The Utility Associate position primarily serves as front line support to student dining, but may be called upon to assist in any other area of the DCCE operation as needed As such, the successful candidate needs to have a basic understanding/skill set in all food service areas to include, but not limited to, culinary, catering, cash operations and receiving and must be able to work independently. This position calls for someone with the ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures and the demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with individuals and groups with varying backgrounds, perspectives, education and skills. Ability to work as part of a dynamic team who embraces communication and inclusiveness is essential to the candidates’ success. Exemplary organizational and time management skills, outstanding customer service skills and attention to detail are a must.
