Unaffiliated with any one particular religious tradition, the Multifaith Chaplaincy exists to nurture the religious, spiritual, and ethical lives and learning of all students, faculty, and staff of the College through an intentionally multifaith orientation and program. In response to an evolving religious landscape in which many are skeptical of religious affiliations, yet still seeking avenues for connection and meaning-making, the Multifaith Chaplaincy seeks to engage all curious, questioning or committed students. faculty, and staff by facilitating opportunities for genuine conversation, connection, and exploration around topics of meaning, purpose, and relationships.

    The Grounds and Maintenance Lead – Horticulture Focus assists the manager in directing employees and all activities in order to meet department operational goals. The expectation is that the Grounds Lead will assign tasks and direct small groups of staff in the performance of those duties. This person will act as a liaison with internal and/or external contacts related to operational issues.     Bates Dining, Conferences and Campus Events oversees all student dining and is also the College’s catering provider. Staff holding a Cook's Assistant position primarily work in student dining providing approximately 5000 meals per day to the students, faculty, staff and guests of the college who dine in Commons. They are also called upon to prepare items for catered events as needed.
