At LCRA, we are searching for an individual who is committed to teamwork to join our team as a Risk Analyst II! In this position you would contribute to both the credit and market risk side of the middle office. Our Ideal candidate would have experience in performing credit reviews and be familiar with allegro or other risk systems and have strong excel skills. Ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in and/or experience in SAS or Python and be capable of running preexisting programs weekly. You will be trusted to:

- Conduct annual credit reviews
- Run daily credit reports
- Analyze energy transactions for accuracy
- Maintain counterparty credit and trade data
- Perform ad-hoc analysis analyzing market trends
- Perform ad-hoc credit and market risk analysis

You qualify with:

Six or more years’ experience in finance, economics, computer science, math or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

You are a great fit with:

- Experience in Excel, preferably including some VBA
- Experience with SAS or other data analysis focused language
