At LCRA, we are seeking a driven leader to operate as a Power Plant Outage/Project Manager! In this role you will supervise outages (forced and planned), capital improvement projects (CIP), and operation and maintenance projects (O&M) for the LCRA power generation assets. You will be trusted to:

- Manage all aspects of Power Plant Outages and Special Projects
- Lead project planning, scope definition, budget and schedule, resourcing, staffing progress reporting and troubleshooting.
- Ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
- Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
- Work independently and only requires guidance in complex situations. Work will include direct supervision of a field support staff.

You qualify with:

- Twelve or more years of experience in project controls, project management or work package management, or relevant experience, including four or more years managing projects (including managing scope, schedule and budget). A degree(s) in engineering, business, finance, economics, construction management, or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.  
- Driver's license

You are a great fit with:

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- OEM experience as a field engineer in controls or mechanical engineering
- Experience in power plant projects
- Experience in power plant maintenance management
- Experience in P6, Maximo, and/or Peoplesoft
