Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing instruction and serving as advisor to students enrolled in the Computer Information Technology (CITE) and Cybersecurity INFOSEC & Administration Programs each semester.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience: Associate's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field plus five years full-time equivalent work experience with personal computers and networks, or a Bachelor's degree plus three years full-time equivalent work experience with personal computers and networks is required. CompTIA’s A+, Network+, and Cisco CCNA certifications are required.
Required License and/or Certifications:
Must possess or be able to obtain an Idaho State Career Technical Education (CTE) post-secondary teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expert knowledge of networking communications and protocols, configure Cisco routers and switches, IPv4 & IPv6 subnetting, Wireshark and Packet Tracer.
- Excellent interpersonal communications, oral and written English communication skills.
- Strong skills in routing & switching, virtualization, time management, educating/training adults for employment, demonstrated skills troubleshooting communications networks.
- Basic Linux commands & Linux system administration.
- Ability to use a personal computer and associated peripherals and current version of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, Internet, and alternative delivery systems (e.g., internet and interactive video) at a proficient level.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone and copier
