About the Role
To maintain farm operations, and the school farm as an educational resource, whilst integrating student practical experiences into normal farm operations through the demonstration of skills and techniques relating to the farm industry. Undertake a range of functions and tasks associated with the routine maintenance and daily operation of the school farm, including tasks requiring skills obtained through training and experience.
A workplace flexibility arrangement will be negotiated upon commencement, outlining the specific span of hours and conditions under which work will be performed.

We are looking for
Essential
- The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered. A regulated activity is a child related service or activity defined in the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Regulations 2014. This registration must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of this may be checked at any time during employment.
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment
Desirable
- A current driver’s licence.
- Appropriate trade qualifications or relevant skills obtained through training and experience would be an advantage.
- Extensive practical experience in farm operations, preferably under Tasmanian conditions.
- A current Chem Cert Certification and First Aid Certification, or the ability to obtain.
