About the Role
St Patrick's Catholic Primary School, Lithgow is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join the school community. As a teacher in a Catholic school, you will:
- Support and enrich the sacramental, liturgical, and prayer life of the school while embedding Catholic teachings, values, and practices into your teaching and interactions.
- Foster positive, nurturing relationships with students to support their spiritual, moral, and academic development.
- Create a learner-centred, inclusive classroom environment aligned with curriculum policies and implement quality teaching strategies.
- Use student assessment data to identify learning barriers and tailor support to enhance student growth and achievement.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, contribute to the professional life of the school, and participate in ongoing faith and professional formation.
- Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider community to encourage student involvement in the life of the Church and community.

About You
We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and NESA accreditation to teach in NSW.
- A capacity to work collegially and collaborate within a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, punctuality and adaptability.
- Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school including coaching sporting teams, and attending school camps and retreats as required.
- Capacity to create safe and supportive learning environments for students.
- A demonstrated understanding of the Church’s teachings and the Catholic teacher’s role in the mission of the Church.
