About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse Grade 3A to join our Victoria/Tasmania team on a full-time basis.
We are primarily looking for nurses based in Geelong and Surrounding areas, although the role may require coverage across neighbouring regions.
The primary purpose of the In-Home Care (IHC) Primary Nurse Registered Division 1 is to provide comprehensive clinical care to consumers in a community setting. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role is responsible for delivering high quality, best practice care that meets the expectation of the consumer and demonstrates a commitment to maintaining an optimal level of dignity, respect, comfort and quality of life for consumers.
As a Nurse, you will provide care and support that enhances the health and wellbeing of our customers that continue living in the community, in their own homes and who are committed to the needs of our customers. Focused on delivering high-quality care, and maintaining an optimal level of dignity, respect, comfort, and quality of life for our clients.
Key Duties
- Community Nursing services, ensuring person-centred care through assessment, planning, documentation, and evaluation.
- Implement the intervention/s identified in the plan of care for each customer and ensure the customer's response to these directives is evaluated, communicated, and documented in the progress notes.
- Facilitate a professional and compassionate approach to care.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication while respecting individual privacy and dignity.
- Safe management of all clinical care tasks, including medication management, Infection prevention and control, wound care etc
About You
You are passionate about continuing to grow your career in the Community Nursing space. Solution focused and wanting to make a difference, you align your approach to achieve organisational and divisional goals. Working as part of a close-knit team, you collaborate with and support others, demonstrating respect in your day-to-day actions.
About You:
- Must be a Registered Nurse Div 1
- At least 3 years of Nursing experience either in the Community or Hospital, preferable community nursing experience.
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience working within the Aged Care Sector or with Elderly people.
- Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Word & basic Excel.
- Driver’s license with a car
- A warm, compassionate, and reliable team member.
