Job Duties

The payroll technician is responsible for the processing of the payroll for all NVMHI employees and ensures employees are paid correctly and on time. The incumbent in the position will perform weekly timecard reviews in Workforce Central (Kronos) time keeping system. Add new employee in Kronos and backup for a timekeeper. Prepares other reports to support the preparation of payroll batches. Creates and use excel reports where data entry is required. Maintaining the payroll files for all NVMHI employees. Provides additional support to the Payroll Officer and the Payroll Analyst with Cardinal Payroll System as need. Prepares payroll documentation for presentation at New Employee Orientation. Performs all other duties as assigned and supports other fiscal functions and projects as required

Minimum Qualifications

Prior experience with payroll processes
Experience with timekeeping and payroll software systems 􀀀
Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Considerations

Prior experience with processing for the Cardinal HCM
Experience with processing payroll in a 24/7 healthcare facility
Experience with Workforce Central (Kronos) time keeping system
Degree in Business, Accounting and Finance a plus
