Job Duties
The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) is seeking an experienced IT professional to service as an Integration Analyst with focus on DBHDS Oracle Millennium EHR. This position oversees the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and revenue cycle application implementation, support, and integration into services performed within the DBHDS hospital system used by the twelve DBHDS facilities. This position is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of interfaces and data exchange solutions between Oracle Millennium and other clinical, business, and third-party systems and ensures seamless interoperability, accurate data flow, and system reliability to support patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This is a fully remote position.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Designing, building, and maintaining Openlink, HL7, FHIR, and other interfaces for Millennium.
• Configuring and monitoring integration engines (e.g., Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Corepoint, Mirth) to manage data transactions.
• Implementing and supporting Cerner FSI (Foreign System Interfaces), Openlink, and related integration tools.
• Educating colleagues on FHIR optimizations and configurations
• Enabling interoperability between Millennium and ancillary systems (lab, radiology, pharmacy, billing, population health, HIEs).
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data exchange needs and provide solutions.
• Monitoring interface queues and resolving data transmission errors or system outages.
• Serving as Tier 2/3 escalation for interface-related incidents.
• Developing test plans, scripts, and validation procedures for new interfaces and upgrades.
• Validating data mapping, message structures, and workflows.
• Maintaining interface specifications, diagrams, and support documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with HIPAA, HL7/FHIR standards, and organizational IT security policies.
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining Openlink, HL7, FHIR, and other interfaces.
• Experience performing system configuration.
• Skilled in software design, development, testing and deployment methods.
• Experience in Integration of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products with configurable components.
• Experience with MS SQL Server products and tools.
• Knowledge of Health Information Technology (HIT) environment, EHR and Revenue Cycle applications function.
• Knowledge of system development life cycle states.
• Experience in project management.
• Strong time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective in building rapport and relationships with peers and end-users.

• Experience in healthcare IT development.
• Experience with CCL.
• Knowledge and experience with project Management best practices and methodologies.
• Experience working with agile projects.
• Healthcare IT certifications (e.g., HL7, FHIR, or OCI).
