- Fire Vehicle Repairers - Auto Electricians and Mechanics
- Ongoing, Full Time (9-day fortnight)
- Grade: Fire Vehicle Repairer
- Salary: $1,411.80 per week (Level 1) to $1,623.60 per week (Level 4), plus a range of allowances including tool, fire equipment and heavy vehicle inspectors.

About the role:
- Maintain, diagnose and repair all vehicles and ladder trucks in operation at FRNSW to meet the operational and safety standards required for emergency services.
- Work to improve and develop specialised systems and enhancements.
- Utilise FRNSW systems to monitor scheduled servicing and for the entry of data associated with specific repairs.
About you:
- Experience in the repair and maintenance of light or heavy vehicles.
- Team player who likes to solve problems and has a willingness to learn.
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant Mechanical or Auto Electrical experience (trade qualified auto electrician with an MVRIC licence).
- Hold or willingness to obtain a HR driving licence. Fire & Rescue NSW will fund this licence for the successful applicant, if needed.
- Note: You will be required to work on a roster, which includes a mix of shift work, overtime, on-call and some interstate travel. You will be given the opportunity to expand your skills with relevant, industry-based training.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in Hydraulic system and Pumps
- Air conditioning licence
