About the role
In this newly created role, you will have an opportunity to develop our enterprise contract management strategy and framework from the ground up. You will be responsible for overseeing all enterprise-wide aspects of contract management and associated governance activities, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and supporting the organisations’ strategic objectives. This role is also responsible for monitoring and building TAC contract management capability, through continuous review and improvement.
About the Team
This role sits within the Corporate Legal & Compliance branch, in the Finance and Governance division at the TAC. This division ensures that the TAC is financially sustainable, efficient and is governed effectively.

What we’re looking for
Previous experience in the development of contract management frameworks, policies and procedures, within a government environment
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant government legislation and experience in procurement, contract and category management activities.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills to drive contract management uplift across the business as well as supporting supplier contract negotiations
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to develop positive and trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, as well as other internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated system experience
Practical experience in the design, implementation and management of contracts and contract management systems (e.g. SAP Ariba, MS Dynamics, Workday, Oracle, etc.) as well as highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
