About the role
The Team Manager is responsible for the effective leadership and management of a high performing team of 8-12 employees to meet operational targets and branch objectives. With strong commercial skills and exceptional people management experience, the Team Manager is well versed in managing people through change, coaching for performance whilst achieving stretch targets to meet the needs of clients, providers and the business.
About the Team
This role is in the Recovery Support Branch in the Claims Management Group in the Clients Division who contribute to achieving efficient, just and cost-effective injury recovery and independence outcomes for those injured in transport accidents. This division and its outcomes has a fundamental and direct impact on the performance of the TAC as a whole.
What we’re looking for
Demonstrated leadership experience
Proven leadership experience within a dynamic, fast paced and agile environment with the ability to identify development and learning needs and effectively coach and mentor staff to meet performance standards
Proven change management experience
Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing change with experience in utilising operational and strategic thinking and implementing business improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated experience in complex decision making in a result focused role Proven knowledge and ability to exercise sound judgement in the interpretation and application of legislation, policies, work practices and legal precedents.
