We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Support Officer to join our Early Intervention team in Brisbane. In this role you will provide support to the CTP Claims teams through the execution of first response to our customers, assisting them in lodging claims and providing guidance on the process.
What you’ll do:
- Manage Insurance phone queues with a first call resolution mindset to support customers in every interaction, providing a superior customer experience
- Support customers through offering Early Intervention medical advice within approved guidelines and supporting customers in seeking treatment for their injuries
- Learn key claims identifiers that drive early intervention to enable phone calls to be managed within the team or pathed to the appropriate claims handler
- Support claims team in business support functions to enable team to manage claims expeditiously as they are received
- Lodge Personal Injury claims navigating external systems to facilitate appropriate lodgements
- Investigate, gather and follow-up additional information to complete the lodgement for Claims
- Validate claim details for lodgement, and refer to business partners
- Undertake review and audit tasks as directed
What you’ll bring:
- Knowledge of Insurance Operations well regarded
- Contact centre or administrative experience preferred
- Outstanding attention to detail
- General resilience in a high volume, fast paced contact centre environment
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding customer service focus
- Display a high level of empathy, remain calm and level-headed when dealing with difficult enquiries
- Excellent time management skills
- Problem solving abilities and the confidence to make timely decisions
- Resilient and quick learner
