About the Role
As a Technology & Data Risk Advisor, you’ll provide specialist oversight of technology and data risks, including AI and cyber threats. You’ll partner with Technology & Operations leaders to strengthen risk culture and ensure robust controls are in place.
What You’ll Do
- Provide oversight and challenge across risk management for Technology & Operations, including leading and conducting assurance reviews.
- Advise on risk appetite, policy interpretation, and implementation of frameworks.
- Analyse internal and external data trends to inform risk insights and recommendations.
- Represent the Risk Function on strategic initiatives and change programs.
- Partner with leadership teams to clarify complex technology risks and their business implications.
- Contribute to missions within the Risk Function and support cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in risk management, ideally in a second line of defence role.
- Strong understanding of technology, data, AI, and model risk oversight.
- Knowledge of cyber security risk management and emerging tech trends.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, law, finance, IT, or risk (desired).
- ISACA CISM certification or equivalent (desired).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
