About the Role
As a Finance Analyst, you’ll support month-end, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Motor portfolio. You’ll deliver insightful analysis, drive process improvements, and build strong relationships across the CFO Insurance Australia team.
What You’ll Do
- Support month-end close and deliver standardised management reporting.
- Prepare budget and forecast summary packs and contribute to planning cycles.
- Analyse Expense and FTE performance, providing relevant and actionable insights.
- Respond to ad-hoc analysis requests and support remediation activities.
- Drive and implement process improvement initiatives across finance operations.
- Build stakeholder relationships to understand business drivers and trends.
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business or Finance; CA/CPA preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience in financial services, ideally with insurance exposure.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in executive reporting and decision support.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word; PowerQuery and Power BI knowledge preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High attention to detail, time management, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
