We’re excited to offer multiple opportunities for passionate Claims Specialists to join our growing Claims team within Terri Scheer. We are seeking vibrant, passionate, and customer-focused individuals to join our dynamic team. As a Claims Specialist, you will have the opportunity to provide expert advice and support to customers over the phone, lodging claims for property damage and loss of rent.

About Us:

Terri Scheer is one of Australia’s leading providers of landlord insurance and we operate a busy inbound Contact Centre focused on delivering exceptional support to new and existing customers. Based in Adelaide, we’re a motivated and supportive team with a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

 Position Overview:

  • Job Title: Claims Specialist.
  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week and a rotational roster from 8:00am to 7:00pm.
  • Location: Adelaide CBD.
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid role with a mix of working from home and in the office (post probation).
  • Start Date: Monday 10th November 2025
  • Salary: $60,500 + 12% Superannuation + Performance-Based Incentives.


What You’ll Do:
As a Claims Specialist, you will:

  • Provide exceptional service to customers as the first point of contact for all inbound claim calls.
  • Handle inbound calls from landlords, real estate agencies, assessors or third parties for both new and existing claims.
  • Promptly and accurately action inbound email communications from our customers; uploading these to existing claims for Claims Managers, answering queries, or lodging new claims.
  • Cultivate, strengthen, and nurture quality relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Completing additional tasks such as processing post, checking online lodgements, and following up existing claims to assist with business operations.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility to work rostered hours covering operations across all states of Australia.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Organisational and time management capabilities.
