The Role:

As the Pharmacy Site Manager (North), you will oversee the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services across northern health facilities. This leadership role combines clinical expertise with operational management, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centred medication practices. You'll guide a dedicated team, drive service improvements, and contribute to statewide pharmacy strategy within a supportive and collaborative environment.

You will need:

  • Current registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a hospital or health setting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams

Details of appointment:

Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 3 January 2026.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $154,145 to $156,115 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022.

Salary Packaging:

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. (delete if no access)

Allowances: 

  • A market allowance of $10,000 per annum pro rata is applicable to this role

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

  • Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia or completion of an overseas qualification eligible for skills assessment through the Australian Pharmacy Council.
  • Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia

For pre-registration (intern) pharmacists: Eligible for provisional registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
