The Role:

  • Leads and manages the co-ordination of patient care in the community based on clinical standards, legislation and evidence based best practice and within a multi-disciplinary framework; and
  • Manages physical, financial and human resources effectively;
  • works collaboratively with stakeholders;
  • Champions a child safe culture; and
  • Participates in quality improvement.

Details of Appointment:

Fixed term, full time, day worker (with on-call) position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible until 17 October 2025.

Please note that hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Classification: 

Salary: $122,365 - $129,060 per annum + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging

  • Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications in Mental Health

Under particular circumstances employees may be required to undertake a new conviction check.
