The Role

The enrolled nurse provides direct patient centred, trauma informed nursing care to assigned patients, within the Inpatient Withdrawal Unit, located St Johns Park, New Town under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse to achieve planned patient outcomes.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term, full time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 29 September 2025 until 12 October 2025.

Please note that hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Classification: Enrolled Nurse Grade 2

Salary $70,980 - $78,179 per annum (pro rata) + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging

  • Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023

Eligibility

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse.

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a mental health setting.

Under particular circumstances employees may be required to undertake a new conviction check.
