The Role:

The After-Hours Nurse Manager role provides leadership, oversight, and management of the activities of the health service/facility after-hours. Supports the efficient and effective provision of care, based on clinical standards and best practice principles, within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework by coordinating patient flow and management functions within the health service/facility.

Provide leadership in contemporary nursing practice and promote an environment conducive to innovation and change.
- Works closely with the Nursing Director and the Assistant Director of Nursing to achieve the agreed objectives and outcomes in relation to patient capacity and demand.

Details of Appointment:
Fixed term casual, shift worker position, commencing from as soon as possible for approximately twelve (12) months.
Classification: Registered Nurse Grade 7b
Salary: $134,109 - $140,384 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Plus 25% Casual Loading - Equivalent of $84.51 - $88.46 per hour.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023
