What you’ll do

In this specialist project role, you’ll work at the heart of payroll system innovation, focusing on enhancements to Infomine (our proprietary time capture system) and its integration with our new Dayforce Payroll System.

This is your chance to play an integral role in a dynamic project, contributing to the successful implementation of the Dayforce payroll platform through a blend of system design, requirements development, testing, and data migration.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery:

  • Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and refine system design for Infomine and its integrations.
  • Develop and document system requirements and designs.
  • Perform testing activities, including creating test scripts, conducting system tests, and resolving defects.
  • Support the implementation and post-launch support (hypercare activities).
  • Create clear technical documentation, payroll processes, and user support guides.

Payroll Systems Support:

  • Collaborate effectively with internal Payroll Transition project teams and external support vendors.
  • Maintain up-to-date system configuration documentation.
  • Provide support to resolve technical issues, such as system user errors or integration failures.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To succeed in this role, you will bring a combination of technical expertise and collaborative skills.

  • Formal Education: Relevant training in HR, Payroll Systems, Time and Attendance OR equivalent work experience.
  • Work Experience:
    • Proven experience supporting or implementing Time and Attendance, Payroll, and HRIS systems.
    • Strong capability in requirements gathering, design documentation, and change management activities.
    • Hands-on experience with testing in the full IT lifecycle (test script creation and defect fixing).
    • Experience working with HR and Payroll teams to resolve operational issues.
    • Familiarity with Dayforce, Oracle HCM, and other payroll platforms (preferred).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of Time and Attendance, Payroll, and HR systems, including integration capabilities.
    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • High-level technical documentation capabilities.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Strong ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
