Ready to put your electrical skills to work where it matters most? Thiess is hiring CHPP Electrical Operator/Maintainers to keep our Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) at Lake Vermont Mine near Dysart running safely, smoothly, and efficiently.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
As a CHPP Electrical Operator/Maintainer, you’ll be hands-on with the electrical systems that drive our plant, while also playing a key role in operations. Your day-to-day includes:
- Operating and maintaining all areas of the CHPP
- Responding to electrical breakdowns and performing preventative maintenance
- Ensuring electrical systems meet safety and efficiency standards
- Conducting inspections and contributing to continuous improvement
- Working in challenging environments (heights, confined spaces) safely and effectively
🎓 What You’ll Bring:
- ✅ Current QLD Electrical Licence
- ✅ Low Voltage Rescue certification
- ✅ Standard 11 (mandatory)
- ✅ Experience in CHPP or similar fixed plant operations
- ✅ A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and reliability
