About the Role

As our next Tyre Fitter reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.

The Mount Thorley Workshop is situated 10km outside of Singleton in the Picturesque Hunter Valley. These are permanent positions and you will work a 5/2 roster Dayshift only.

As a Tyre Fitter, you will:

· Remove and fit rims and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving mining equipment as required.

· Remove, repair and refit tyres and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving mining equipment as required.

· Perform regular tyre inflation pressure checks and adjustments.

· Source technical information from available reference manuals, technical bulletins, and computer-based systems.

· Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of equipment non-conformance, identify and record any equipment quality problems, initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.

· Be able to work in accordance with the site's policies and procedures.

· Be able to work in a workshop and field environment

About You

To be considered for this role you are required to have,

· Cert 2 - Automotive Tyre Service Technology AUR21920 OR aur21916.

· Minimum of two years' experience working as a Tyre Fitter.

· HR drivers licence preferable, but not essential

· High risk work license desirable

· Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earthmoving
