As Scrum Master, you will

  • Coach and lead multiple squads on best practice agile ways of working, fostering an environment of high performance, continuous flow and relentless improvement.
  • Be the driving force to enable the squads to be self-organised, promoting a collaborative team environment that foster creativity, innovation, continuous improvement and celebrate success.
  • Facilitate agile forums for example daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retros and showcases, and manage squads artefacts.
  • Role model agile behaviours at ceremonies and influence all members of the squads by regularly providing feedback and guidance.
  • Participate in the Scrum of Scrums for relevant squads with associated Scrum Masters to remove risks, issues and blockers.
  • Ensure multiple squads are equipped with the right talent, time, tools and skills to do their work, with leaders expected to manage resources (people, budgets, assets) and coach teams to build competence and confidence.
  • Gather, analyse, and present data to business stakeholders in a way that demonstrates how the team is improving and growing.
  • Manage and build strong, trusted relationships with Engineers and Product Owners to track status of implementation and improve requirements and vision and manage backlog.

What you'll bring 

  • Demonstrated in-depth experience working as a Scrum Master couple with experience across agile ways of working and delivery showcasing a strong knowledge of agile techniques including creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria and managing squad artefacts.
  • Ability to navigate a large complex organisation & build relationships with stakeholders using informal and formal networks.
  • Ability to measure performance and create an environment of continuous learning.
  • Proven experience leading and coaching teams of 8 to 12 people.
  • Extensive experience in a previous scrum master role (hatted or un-hatted).
  • Experience with agile methodology and tooling.
  • Ability to build trust with teams through effective interpersonal skills and action-oriented execution.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, and is relationship led to understand and manage business impacts/needs to achieve positive strategic outcomes.
  • A strong sense of ownership with a self-starting, proactive mentality coupled with strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
