Our Talent Acquisition Lead’s are critical to the success of our TA strategy. They are the culture glue, the delivery drivers, the innovators, and the relationship managers of the team. The volume and campaign Talent Acquisition team recruit over 1000 new colleagues into NAB each financial year across our Personal Bank, Business Bank, Fraud assist and entry roles across each area of the organisation.

Recruitment Leadership.

  • You will collaborate with people leaders to attract the best talent into our business.
  • You will partner with workforce planning to understand each function’s demand plan to support vacancy load and capacity management.
  • You will look for ways to continually improve the recruitment process, identifying enhancement opportunities and boldly experimenting with improvement ideas to identify the right solutions.
  • You will design new recruitment and selection processes for newly designed roles, or for team changes to help identify the best possible talent.
  • You will use data and insights to help people leaders and stakeholders to understand recruitment challenges and opportunities, and to share outcomes and success, with a clear focus on reducing frontline attrition and improving the new starter experience.

Recruitment.

  • You’ll manage some job requisitions yourself, to understand the lived experience of your team, your people leader stakeholders and our candidates and to help manage vacancy load.
  • You’ll partner with leaders on Manager recruitment, helping to identify the best leaders for our Personal and Business Bank, who will go on to become hiring managers and key business partners.

Leadership.

  • You will lead a team of 3-4 Associate Recruiters, helping to prioritise work to help manage vacancy load.
  • You will help to identify skill gaps with your team and collaboratively build their skills, given them experience, education and exposure opportunities to help them to reach their goals.
  • You will provide feedback to help identify improvement opportunities, with clarity and support to understand gaps and, provide recognition, celebrating success with the team and across the function.
  • You will communicate our recruitment strategy and approach, helping the team to remain connected to our vision and feel engaged and part of the future of the function.

 

About you.

  • You are a engaging leader who leads by example, actively listens and is passionate about coaching and development.
  • You are a commercial thinker, a problem solver, solution oriented and have strong change management skills.
  • You are a culture magnet, you bring people together and create an environment of trust, fun and hard work.
  • You have experience in high volume recruitment environments and understand the need to prioritise vacancies and clearly communicate with stakeholders, people leaders and team members to ensure clarity and alignment.
