About The Opportunity

Programmed’s Property Services department is currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Grounds & Maintenance Operator to join our team. This is an opportunity to be part of an excellent team that provides grounds maintenance and development to aged care facilities. Working across the Eastern suburbs of Sydney, you will be responsible for the overall upkeep and improvement of the grounds and gardens.

Nature of position: Full Time

Location: Eastern Suburbs, Sydney

Reporting line: Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the sites are always maintained and presented at a high standard
• Routine mowing and turf maintenance
• Pruning and shaping across the grounds
• Operate a range of mowers and other small plant equipment
• Weed & pest control – spraying and manual weeding
• Ensure compliance of all occupational health and safety processes and procedures

About You

To join our team, ideally you will have experience in gardening and landscaping, with a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will have

• Qualification or experience in horticultural parks and gardens, gardening and landscaping
• Current driver's license & white card
• Current working with children’s check
• Demonstrate a professional approach to the workplace
• Execute work that is of a high standard
• A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety management systems.
