On the back of successfully winning a new contract with Sydney Water (West) we are looking to appoint key skilled trades within our team.

The Role:

We currently have a new vacancy available for a Plumber to join our Facilities Maintenance team. In this role you will be responsible for minor plumbing maintenance and repairs across Sydney Water assets and facilities.

Responsibilities will include:

• Carry out minor plumbing works and repairs including but not limited to: repair and replace pipes, valves, drainage & other plumbing fixtures and equipment
• Identification of additional of maintenance requirements 
• Appropriate use and maintenance of hand tools
• Liaise with operational staff and external stakeholders as required
• Ensure WHS practices are maintained
• Visit a variety of locations around Western Sydney and at all times provide excellent front line line customer service
• Assist in incident management processes

What you will need:

• Relevant trade qualification
• Background in FM would be beneficial but is not required, general relevant experience will be considered 
• Good communication is essential
• Ability to liaise and work with external contractors
• Knowledge of occupational health & safety requirements;
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal direct supervision
• Dedication to safety and safe work practices
• Full clean NSW driver’s licence
