West Region Delivery Team have been engaged by Sydney Water to deliver design, construction, maintenance and facility management services for ten (10) years across Sydney Water’s wastewater, water and recycled water systems. Programmed is one of the JV partners within The West Region Delivery Team.

 

The role:

We have a new full time opportunity for a Maintenance Scheduler who will be responsible for the scheduling in our Operations Maintenance (OM) Team working to deliver corrective and planned maintenance across Sydney Water Network assets in the western region.

 

This role would ideally suit someone from an engineering/maintenance/trade or planning background who enjoys supporting a large team.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the effective execution of all maintenance work control processes
  • Coordinates works orders through client’s software (Maximo) and internal field mobility system (Loc8)
  • Analyses performance data to develop resolution strategies where poor performance is visible
  • Manages work priorities, developing job plans and defining scopes
  • Procures works within customer supply guidelines
  • Works closely with Maintenance Planners & Supervisors & client representatives to ensure works are delivered within schedule and KPI parameters
  • Availability to take after hours calls (on-call) on weekends as per roster.

 

What you will need:

  • Team player, a self-starter with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude
  • Prior experience within a similar role in Water or Utilities is preferred but not essential   
  • Demonstrable ability in scheduling & dispatching works
  • Have high attention to detail and strong written skills.
  • First rate communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft suite
  • Good understanding of asset management principles
