About The Opportunity   

Programmed Facility Management (PFM) are seeking a Subcontractor Manager to lead subcontractors in upholding quality, timeliness, and KPI adherence for facility management services for a large-scale social housing contract. In cases where non-conformance issues persist, the Subcontractor Manager will take charge of resolving complex issues affecting project delivery. Additionally, this role oversees adherence to governance processes in subcontractor procurement and ongoing compliance. This permanent, full time role based in Wagga Wagga NSW, plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth facility management service delivery and contributing to important services for the community.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure subcontractors meet contractual requirements and provide necessary documentation.
  • Manage subcontractor induction process for the client contract.
  • Maintain data integrity and renewals for approved subcontractors.
  • Audit subcontractor performance against client KPIs and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure safe and timely work delivery.
  • Report issues impacting clients or scoped works to the Contract Manager.
  • Review subcontractor quotations and obtain specialised quotes when needed.
  • Carry out subcontractors reviews, sourcing them if needed for identified gaps and work closely with our corporate procurement team
  • Conduct site inspections, manage performance, and promote a Zero Harm culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in subcontractor management gained in a ‘hands-on’ operational or contract environment. You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude, knack for people engagement and passion for excellent and safe service delivery.

 Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

  • Trade qualification and/or equivalent experience in FM
  • Experience managing subcontractors including monitoring of standards and KPIs
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suit (Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
