About The Opportunity   

Join the Programmed Facility Management department as a Claims Team Leader, contributing to the smooth operation and service excellence of our contracts, particularly in administration and management of subcontractor payment claims. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of claims, meeting both Programmed Facility Management (PFM) and client quality standards. Located in Parramatta NSW, this permanent full-time position offers opportunities for professional growth and the chance to work within a supportive team environment.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Lead claims team and oversee claims processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective processes for timely claim processing.
  • Provide regular reports on claims status.
  • Resolve issues related to claims promptly.
  • Monitor workload and ensure resource allocation meets objectives.

About You

To excel in this role, you will have experience leading a subcontractor payment function. Additionally, experience as a Finance Administrator or accounts payable / accounts receivable (AP/AR) in a busy office environment, particularly within a multi-site company, is desirable. You will also possess and demonstrate the following:

  • A certificate in office administration desirable, or similar experience.
  • A degree in a business-related discipline is advantageous, not required.
  • Experience managing teams, ideally in a financial claims environment.
  • Highly developed communication skills.
  • Excellent collaboration ability and team focused mindset.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint).
