The Role

Programmed Health Professionals are a leading supplier of healthcare staffing solutions across Australia. We have an opportunity available for an Payroll/Billing Officer to join our Pay Bill team at our Collins Street office.

The successful applicant will be responsible for weekly payroll processing, client invoicing and customer service by effective resolution of employee / client queries.

 

Key responsibilities

Billing

  • Generates invoices for customers.
  • Distributes invoices to customers, including through client portals.
  • Manages invoice queries, including liaison with the Credit Team and processes invoice adjustments as required.

Payroll

  • Checks and maintains employee master file details, bank details, tax file numbers, tax scale and deductions information.
  • Processing of payrolls including keying and validation of timesheets.
  • Processing of employee PAYG and Superannuation
  • Manages payroll queries

 

Skills and Experience

  • Accountability for results
  • Willingness and ability to work as part of a cooperative team to achieve team deliverables
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Confident, friendly phone manner
  • Good communication (verbal and written)
  • Good Microsoft excel skills
  • Payroll & Billing experience is not required, but would be looked upon favourably. The right candidate will be provided training where necessary.
