Due to growth of the business, there is a new position of FM Supervisor available. This is a great opportunity to join an established and successful team on a long-term utilities contract.

 

The Role

Reporting to the Facilities Projects Manager, the FM Project Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of day-to-day FM operations and FM projects. You will work closely with a Projects team to deliver small-medium value works across multiple disciplines.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage safety of all employees and subcontractors on site
  • Co-ordinate staff to work safely, productively, efficiently and effectively as an integrated team
  • Ensure safety documentation and other operational documents are reviewed in accordance with site & client requirements
  • Carrying out completion and quality assurance
  • Ensures that employees and subcontractors have the right skills and knowledge to operate and maintain necessary equipment
  • Acts as a first response for some reactive priority works, assists in scoping and pricing works
  • Assists in Coordination of works, i.e. ordering of materials, requesting POs, arranging subcontractors, raising work orders

 

What you will need

  • Building or civil experience valued
  • Experience in front-line management of people beneficial
  • WHS awareness and knowledge
  • Competence in the application of maintenance management systems and processes
  • Effective communication skills, influencing ability and sound decision-making skills
  • Office based skills, use of MS Office Suite
  • Prior experience in FM would be highly beneficial
  • White card
  • Full driver’s licence
