Programmed Group Training is looking for a highly driven, passionate and dynamic Area Manager whose primary focus will be to drive sales for our Apprenticeship and Traineeship (GTO) business in Adelaide and provide pastoral care to apprentices and trainees. Experience and understanding of the VET sector GTO preferably and frequent travel throughout the state, this role will suit an individual who is a self-starter, people person and passionate about creating and supporting staff, apprentices and trainees in their career pathway journey and growing the business through new apprenticeships and traineeships opportunities.

 

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will:-

  • Have a strong demonstrated background in business development and growth in the VET sector – preferably GTO
  • Identify new business opportunity with new host employers and placement of apprentices and trainees
  • Commercial drive and accountable for P/L achievement
  • Results drive to achieve KPI’s
  • Development and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders, trainees and apprentices, training providers, Department of Education and Apprenticeship Centres
  • Pastoral care and monitoring of apprentices and trainees both on and off the job
  • Management, support and coaching of your team of Field Advisors
  • Establish networks and relationships with various stakeholders from industry partners, SA DET and clients both internal and external
  • Business Proposal and Plans
  • Safety Management

Experience and passion in the VET sector primarily working with apprentices and trainees, business development, a full driver’s licence and ability to travel for the role are a mandatory requirement.
