About The Opportunity

Programmed Facility Management are seeking an experienced and results driven Cleaning Operations Manager to join our Perth Team now. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an essential team that provides Soft Services to well-known Mining and Oil & Gas Companies situated across WA.

Key Responsibilities

Our SME of Cleaning services, this position is responsible for maintaining the performance, growth, and delivery of our services across multiple sites. This pivotal role is responsible for driving operational productivity and profitability through effective deployment of cleaning service methodologies, workforce planning, and continuous improvement initiatives—while ensuring compliance, quality, and safety standards are never compromised. Frequent travel and ad hoc relief to Operations Team are required.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of cleaning services across new and existing sites, ensuring contract requirements and customer expectations are consistently met.
  • Drive productivity improvements with direct impact on P&L through implementation of service methodologies, standards, and performance measurement tools.
  • Define and monitor productivity indexes, including the use of time-and-motion studies, workload analysis, and rostering strategies to maximise efficiency.
  • Oversee rostering and resource allocation to ensure optimal service delivery while managing labour costs effectively.
  • Monitor site performance and provide proactive operational support to ensure continuous improvement across service, quality, and compliance.
  • Implement HSE and compliance measures, embedding a culture of safety and accountability at all levels.
  • Partner with business development teams in the solutioning and costing of bids, supporting both retention and organic growth.
  • Build strong client relationships, ensuring service excellence that drives satisfaction and contract longevity.
  • Support the expansion of cleaning services through innovation, best practice, and tailored solutions for sector-specific needs.

 

About You

To join our team, you will have previous industrial cleaning experience and be highly organized, possessing strong time and priority management skills. You will have a strong commitment to the hygiene and safety of yourself and others, and a passion to provide quality work and service with a smile, at all times.

 

You will possess:

  • Proven experience in a senior cleaning operations or facilities management role.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of improving productivity and delivering P&L results.
  • Skilled in workforce planning, rostering, and productivity analysis (including time-and-motion studies).
  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning methodologies, standards, and compliance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-site operations, ensuring consistent service quality.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Experience in solutioning, costing, and supporting bid submissions.
  • Commitment to compliance and quality assurance.
  • Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others.

 

Additionally, you will also possess the following skills:

  • VALID WA C Class License
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
  • Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
