About the Opportunity  

An exciting opportunity exists for a Social Inclusion Coordinator to join our Programmed Facility Management team on a permanent, full-time basis. 
In this rewarding role, you’ll work collaboratively with our customers, communities, and a range of Government and non-Government agencies to design and deliver meaningful educational and employment pathways for individuals from diverse and challenging backgrounds.

You’ll also partner with the business to create, develop, and promote social inclusion programs that build on Programmed’s inclusive culture - fostering diversity, equity, and belonging across our workforce. By strengthening partnerships and championing initiatives, you’ll play a key role in making a positive social impact and helping individuals connect to long-term opportunities in training and employment.

Reporting to the Compliance & Engagement Manager, you’ll bring passion, creativity, and strong relationship-building skills to support our people, customers, and communities in achieving shared goals. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on creating change and driving initiatives that make a real difference.

 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Champion social inclusion initiatives and programs across the contract
  • Maintain and grow relationships with community groups, educational institutions, and social inclusion partners
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to create apprenticeship, traineeship, and employment opportunities
  • Deliver job readiness training for young workers interested in trade careers
  • Support the Service Delivery and Contract teams by coordinating engagement with vulnerable tenants and community groups
  • Maintain an annual calendar of social inclusion events and initiatives
  • Coordinate and deliver quarterly programs such as Trade for a Day, Community Trade Workshops and Education Trade Workshops
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly client reporting, including: Tracking and reporting against key social inclusion metrics and KPIs, and Documenting outcomes and engagement across all social inclusion programs

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in community engagement, social programs, or employment pathways (Desirable)
  • A strong understanding of social inclusion and diversity principles
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives
  • A genuine passion for supporting people from diverse backgrounds and creating positive change
  • Ability to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People check
