Bid Manager

Location: National (East Coast Preferred)
Work type: Full Time
Division: Programmed Industrial, Infrastructure and Training

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Bid Manager to join Programmed by Persol. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the coordination and production of proposals, tenders, and expressions of interest — supporting the overall goals of the business’s sales objectives.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, You’ll be at the centre of our sales activity — collaborating with business leaders, sales teams, and subject matter experts to develop compelling, high-quality submissions that strengthen client partnerships

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end bid and tender process.
  • Prepare professional, high-quality tenders, proposals, and EOI submissions.
  • Develop and write customised content for complex bids in consultation with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance our Knowledge Management Library, including case studies, compliance documents, and graphics.
  • Lead bid planning meetings and manage project timelines and deliverables.
  • Ensure all submissions comply with brand, governance, and approval standards.
  • Provide strategic input into bid strategies and pricing coordination.
  • Engage effectively with internal stakeholders to gather content and insights.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement and compliance with HSEQ standards.
  • Liaising with Offshore Bid Support personnel

About You

You’re a natural organiser and communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You can translate complex information into persuasive, well-structured content — and you enjoy bringing structure, quality, and collaboration to every submission.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in bid or tender management, ideally within a business development or staffing environment.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with advanced Microsoft Word capability.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and time management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple inputs and maintain version control under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the recruitment or staffing industry (highly regarded).
  • A qualification in writing, communications, or a related discipline (desirable).
