About The Opportunity

Programmed Facility Management is seeking an experienced Reporting and Performance Manager to support performance, reporting, contract compliance and continuous improvement outcomes on the Auckland Council contract.

This is a hands‑on role suited to a data‑driven professional who enjoys working across complex operational environments, managing audits and reporting obligations, and acting as a key interface between operations and the client. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate performance reporting, timely issue resolution and strong contract governance, while identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and customer outcomes.

You’ll work closely with operational teams, contract leadership and the client to ensure data integrity, contract compliance and informed commercial decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end performance reporting, ensuring accuracy, quality and delivery within required timeframes
  • Manage audit and continuous improvement programs, including audit failures and audit overturns, in line with contract specifications
  • Analyse complex operational, service and commercial data to forecast trends, resolve issues and support management decision‑making
  • Provide performance insights and recommendations to operational teams to address performance and compliance issues
  • Coordinate monthly reporting, including collating data from multiple sources and submitting reports via client portals
  • Manage the variation process across the contract and support operational teams to ensure contract compliance
  • Act as the main point of contact for client queries, complaints and escalations, coordinating responses and investigations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance services and customer outcomes

 

About You

You are a highly organised and analytical professional who thrives on accountability, accuracy and stakeholder engagement. You’re comfortable working with complex data and enjoy turning information into actionable insights that improve performance and compliance.

You will typically bring:

  • Experience in performance reporting, contract management, audit or contract compliance focused roles, ideally within local government, council‑based, or facilities management (FM) environments
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support operational and commercial decision‑making
  • Experience working within contract‑based, operational or service delivery environments
  • A proactive approach to identifying risks, resolving issues and driving continuous improvement
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and client‑facing communication skills
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills, producing high‑quality, client‑ready reporting
  • Confidence coordinating inputs from multiple internal teams and managing competing requirements
