About the Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Abseiler Painters to join a high-performing Auckland team delivering rope access painting across a range of commercial and industrial projects. This role will see you working at heights across high-rise structures, with a mix of rope access and ground-based painting work.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Rope access painting across high-rise apartments, hotels, aged care and commercial buildings
- Surface preparation including washing and water blasting
- Applying coatings using brush, roller and spray techniques
- Supporting waterproofing and industrial painting works where required
- Working closely with the Foreman to deliver projects safely and efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of safety, presentation and workmanship
- Assisting ground crews and other painters when required
About You
You are a reliable, well-presented and safety-focused painter who takes pride in delivering high-quality work. You enjoy physically demanding work, can work at heights, and bring a strong team attitude with a willingness to learn or further develop rope access skills.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial painting
- Working at Heights certification (essential)
- IRATA Level 1 or above
- Strong physical fitness and ability to perform rope access work
- Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- EWP ticket (desirable)
- Trade Certificate in Painting (desirable, not essential – support provided for those wanting to become qualified)
