The Opportunity
As a Line Chef, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-volume, high-quality food service within a busy village environment.
Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll take ownership of your section and contribute to:
- Consistent, well-presented meals across multiple service periods
- Cook-to-order stations and themed dining nights
- Daily food preparation and service execution
- Creating a home away from home experience for residents
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver high-quality meals in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Maintain strong standards of food hygiene, safety, and HACCP compliance
- Execute menu items to a high standard of presentation and consistency
- Support stock control, food storage, and kitchen organisation
- Maintain kitchen equipment and cleanliness standards
- Work collaboratively with the wider catering team to meet service demands
- Support the Head Chef in maintaining consistency across all service periods
About You
You’re a qualified chef who takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality food and thrives in a structured kitchen environment.
Whether your background is FIFO, hotel, or restaurant, you bring a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
You will have:
- Experience in high-volume kitchens or fast-paced service environments
- A focus on food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow direction
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Full Australian working rights
- Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Current National Police Check (valid within the last 3 months)
- Perth based or can easily to commute to Perth for flights
