Working on a 2:1 FIFO roster out of Perth, this role suits chefs looking to build FIFO experience or step into a high-performing site.

The Opportunity

As a Line Chef, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-volume, high-quality food service within a busy village environment.

Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll take ownership of your section and contribute to:

 

  • Consistent, well-presented meals across multiple service periods
  • Cook-to-order stations and themed dining nights
  • Daily food preparation and service execution
  • Creating a home away from home experience for residents

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality meals in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • Maintain strong standards of food hygiene, safety, and HACCP compliance
  • Execute menu items to a high standard of presentation and consistency
  • Support stock control, food storage, and kitchen organisation
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and cleanliness standards
  • Work collaboratively with the wider catering team to meet service demands
  • Support the Head Chef in maintaining consistency across all service periods
 

About You

You’re a qualified chef who takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality food and thrives in a structured kitchen environment.

Whether your background is FIFO, hotel, or restaurant, you bring a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

 

You will have:

  • Experience in high-volume kitchens or fast-paced service environments
  • A focus on food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and follow direction
  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic

 

Requirements

  • Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Current National Police Check (valid within the last 3 months)
  • Perth based or can easily to commute to Perth for flights
