Programmed Facility Management is seeking an experienced Plumber to join our team at Sunrise Dam, supporting maintenance across village and site facilities.

Working on an 8:6 FIFO roster out of Perth, this role offers the opportunity to join a stable, well-structured maintenance team, delivering essential services in a remote FIFO environment.

The Opportunity

As a Plumber, you’ll be responsible for delivering maintenance across village and facilities, including accommodation, kitchens, amenities, and associated infrastructure.

This role involves a mix of planned preventative maintenance and reactive work, ensuring systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.

You’ll work as part of a small, collaborative maintenance team under the Maintenance Supervisor, supporting the delivery of high-quality services across site.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general plumbing maintenance and fault finding across village and facilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
  • Install, repair and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, and drainage systems
  • Respond to and resolve plumbing faults and emergency breakdowns
  • Maintain systems across accommodation, kitchens, amenities, and common areas
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Identify and report defects, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to meet operational requirements
 

About You

You’re a qualified Plumber with experience in maintenance environments, ideally within FIFO or remote operations.

You’re reliable, safety-focused, and take pride in delivering consistent, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

 

You will have:

  • Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent)
  • WA Plumbing Licence
  • G Class WA Gas Fitting Licence (required)
  • Previous FIFO or remote site experience (required)
  • Experience in facilities, building services, or maintenance environments
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • A proactive, team-focused approach
 

Requirements

  • Full Australian working rights
  • Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Current National Police Check (valid within the last 3 months)

  • First Aid
  • Experience in FIFO village or facilities maintenance environments

 

Location Requirement:
Candidates must be Perth-based (or able to commute to Perth for flights) or reside in Kalgoorlie.
