Key Responsibilities 

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the General Hand L1 is primarily responsible for assisting our Trades Team with the completion of general or reactive maintenance across contract’s facilities and dwellings. 

 Duties include supporting: 

• Demolition works on Bathrooms, Kitchens and laundries
• General patch and paint
• Small paving odd jobs
• Small tiling odd jobs
• Assist Electrician, Plumbers, Carpenters, Painters and Tilers in maintenance works

About You 

To join our team, you will need to have General experience in a domestic or commercial environment, Can do positive attitude, Additionally you will provide first-class customer service whilst always maintaining a commitment to the safety of yourself and others.  

Additionally, you will possess: 

• Construction White Card (mandatory) 
• VALID Drivers license
• Australian Working Rights 
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening 
• Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months) 

Additionally, you will also possess the following skills: 

• Systems and Technology experience i.e., MS Office, online/web-based Workorder Management Software (Loc8) and Safety, Payroll & Training requirements, 
• Ability to work in a Team; be a self-motivator and take instructions. 
• Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
• Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills. 
• Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others, at all times.
