About the role

Thiess Mt Arthur South are seeking experienced Shot Firers to join our Blast Crew. 

Working a Lifestyle day shift roster, you will be reporting to the Drill & Blast Supervisor. 

In this role, your duties will include:

• Day to day field operations, ensuring that blasting targets are met
• Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all employees
• Adhering to Community and Environmental compliance objectives
• Safely conducting Transport and Delivery of dangerous goods
• Keeping a high level of Housekeeping in magazines, magazine compound, explosive vehicles and work areas

About you

• Proven working experience as part of a Blast Crew
• Current BEUL and UHL Security Clearance. Applicants currently in the process of receiving their BEUL will also be considered. 
• HR Licence (desirable but not essential)
