Ambassador & Influencer Manager

Job no: 943641
Work type: Permanent / Full time
Location: Support Office - Docklands

From humble beginnings in downtown Bendigo to supporting Australian communities far and wide- Myer has always been a special place, transcending beyond just a place to work.

Myer is a place for finding life-long friendships, a safe space with a big heart. Here, you’re encouraged to be yourself, share your ideas and are entrusted to deliver your very best. Some might even say it feels like being “right at home”.

MYER is looking for an Ambassador & Influencer Manager who will be responsible for the development and execution of Myer’s talent program.

You will have responsibility for the development of our overarching talent strategy right through to direct oversight of executional elements including sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and managing a diverse pool of talent including influencers, creators, models, and ambassadors.

Working closely with brand marketing, sponsorships & events, PR & merchandise teams and key agency partners, this role is pivotal in bringing our brand stories to life through authentic and impactful talent partnerships.

About the role:

  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend relevant talent pool (influencers, creators, ambassadors, models, celebrities) aligned with the brand portfolio’s vision, campaign goals, and budget.
  • Partner with marketing, sponsorship and event and merchandise teams and key agency partners to develop seasonal and campaign-specific talent plans.
  • Lead negotiations with talent and agencies to secure optimal rates, deliverables, and terms.
  • Draft, review, and execute talent contracts in collaboration with legal counsel and procurement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all talent throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Brief talent on campaign objectives, creative guidelines, and brand expectations.
  • Coordinate logistics for content creation including scheduling, briefs, travel, wardrobe, and shoots.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key talent, agencies and management teams.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in all talent interactions.
  • Work closely with marketing, sponsorships & events, PR and merchandise and key agency teams to align on campaign goals.

About you:

  • 10+ years of experience in talent management, influencer marketing, PR, or partnerships—preferably within fashion, beauty, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven experience and success in managing talent campaigns from end to end.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and content trends.

Preferred:

  • Existing network of fashion-forward influencers, creators, or celebrity talent.
  • Experience using talent management and marketing tools/platforms.
  • Familiarity with legal and compliance aspects of talent management.

Benefits to you:

  • Generous team member discounts on all Myer products, including team-member exclusive discounts.
  • Access to lifestyle leave and volunteer leave – arrange work around your life, not life around work.
  • A supportive leadership and team network to set you up for success.
  • Career growth and succession opportunities across the business.
  • Flexible hybrid working model – mix of working in our Docklands Support Office and Work-From-Home

Here, you’re not only an employee. You’re a valued Team Member with real dreams that we want to help you chase, no matter how big or small. At Myer, we’re all about making your work life meaningful. We want you to experience life’s special moments fully, which is why we take pride in offering balance and flexible options to get you to where you want to be.
