What does the job look like?
As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in attracting and securing the best supply-chain professionals for our Resources and Industrial (R&I) business which provides specialised logistics services to the resources, mining, oil and gas, industrial and infrastructure sectors.
Recruitment needs of this division includes Transport and Warehouse staff, MC/HC drivers, Forklift drivers and other positions Australia wide. Your extensive knowledge of recruitment best practices will be invaluable as you partner with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and develop targeted strategies to build organisational capability and culture to fuel our growth. Key areas:
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing insights, guidance, and market intelligence to drive informed recruitment decisions
- Partner with hiring managers to uncover their talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Source, screen and conduct comprehensive interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit, ensuring we find the perfect match for each role
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including offer negotiation and onboarding activities.
- Conduct and background checks and role assessments ensure candidates meet Linfox's standards.
- Utilise various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry partnerships.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in talent acquisition.

- Previous experience in talent acquisition, ideally in a high-volume in blue collar environment
- Proven ability to manage the full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing
- A passion for delivering exceptional candidate experiences and contributing to a high-performing team.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, overseeing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
