What does the job look like?
The role of Payroll Officer exists to primarily assist with the administration, processing, reporting and maintenance of the weekly award payroll for all Linfox Group wholly owned Australian entities. Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of designated Payroll ledger, responsibilities of the role will include:
- Processing of allocated weekly national payroll, annual leave forms and reconciliation of leave entitlements.
- Setting up new starters and processing terminations as they arise.
- Maintenance of the allocated weekly payroll records
- Supporting payroll queries from all business areas.
- Preparation and distribution of weekly payroll Costing Reports to Site Managers.
- Supporting the broader weekly payroll team and provide guidance to junior members.
- Play a key role in supporting continuous improvement and system improvement activities and initiatives as they arise.

You can demonstrate:
- Payroll experience, ideally minimum 2 years within large corporate or operational environments.
- Sound knowledge of associated industry legislations, awards, and best practices.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle high volumes of information and requests from a variety of business areas and stakeholders.
- Ability to systematically work through multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Experience working with SAP, Kronos and other enterprise level Payroll related systems is highly regarded.
- High volume end-to-end payroll for weekly employees.
