We are looking for a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to lead the Linfox Resources & Industrial business for multiple operations across New South Wales.

Working with some of our largest Industrial clients, this role is responsible for shaping and growing our safety culture with a focus on care, trust and inclusion.

This role would suit an energetic and innovative safety professional who has experience in embedding a risk based approach to keep people safe both physically and mentally. With several operations across NSW we are flexible on location but there would be some travel required. 

Key SH&W Accountabilities

  • Partner with leaders and customers to develop and execute business and site plans
  • Embed a risk-based approach with a focus on every day, critical and psychosocial risks
  • Coach and mentor leaders through a combination of site visits, facilitated training and workshops
  • Develop and maintain the system with a focus on risk, health, compliance and customer expectations
  • Manage serious incident investigations and regulatory notifications/interventions
  • Measure and report on performance, trends and outcomes

Are you the one?

You enjoy a hands on role coaching, influencing, mentoring and providing specialist workplace health and safety advice to workers and leaders to drive safety across our sites, coupled with your ability to work in an open, collaborative and inclusive manner will ensure success in this role. You can demonstrate:

  • Leadership experience in safety, health and wellbeing and/or other risk based role
  • Deep and practical understanding of the risks unique to the transport, warehousing and resources industry
  • Commitment to personal development through formal education or other training programs
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and leading incident investigations
  • Working knowledge of work health and safety legislation
  • Ability to develop and present results, plans and updates to leadership teams and customers
